Although still concerned with developments in India, the issues that occupied the Indian Workers Association were broadly to do with social exclusion facing migrants in Britain especially in employment sector.Racism, employment inequalities, and the restrictions of immigration legislation made the mass firmly committed to the struggles of black and minority ethnic groups and working people.
The IWA and AIC,representing its members both within the workplace and outside of it, as well as organising events related to employment rights and helping the immigrants in various employment related issues.
